The lodge was inspired by the natural beauty of the landscape and all chalets have been constructed using indigenous Mopane timber and canvas. This offers not only a stunning sight, but an environmentally conscious design.

Jackalberry Tented Camp welcomes its guest to one of the most unique areas in Zambezi region, the wet land paradise for ultimate adventure.  The Camp is built inside the Nkasa Lupala National Park formerly known as Mamili National Park and is located on the Linyanti river lagoons where large populations of the park’s wildlife roam freely. Many can be spotted from the decks of the multi- storey lodge built in and around the enormous Jackalberry tree. The decks offer 360° uninterrupted views sweeping across the flood plains of Namibia to the woodlands of Botswana just across the river.

Star Grading: Tented Lodge

A peaceful riverine retreat situated on the western banks of the Okavango River. In true safari fashion, Ndhovu Safari Lodge offers luxury accommodation in ten spacious tents, one of which is anchored on the Okavango River. Each tent is fully equipped and beds boast fabulous river views. Something unique is our double storey house-boat´´hippo´´ that provides an all inclusive experience for two to three days for four people on the Okavango River. It is ideally suited for the adventurous and for those in search of new experiences. There is plenty to do from fishing trips and game drives to birding and boat trips.

An intimate lodge situated amongst tall riverine trees – guests are offered ample opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the African bush with views across the river into the nearby flood plains and wetlands.  Everything at the lodge focuses on relaxation and enjoying the African wilderness at your own pace. There is a magnificent and rich variety of birdlife. Enjoy an early sunrise or a late afternoon sundowner cruise or go fly fishing.  You may plan to go on a bushwalk, traditional village tour or choose to celebrate the end of a lazy day by spending memorable time at night around the fire pit stargazing.

River Dance‘ is situated on the banks of the mighty Okavango river, 180km north east of Rundu, in Kavango East.  We are unaffected by seasonal flooding, owner managed and a mere 35km from Popa Falls and Bwabwatha National Park (Mahango Core Area and Buffalo entrance gate). 

Our luxurious waterfront units are tastefully decorated. We offer scrumptious meals and breathtaking views of the river. Join us on a boat cruise, an island nature walk, makoro experience or a cultural visit.
